Breaking through Antarctica Seas

In the austral summer season of December 2017 - February 2018, we sampled a unique cruise transect from the Amundsen Sea to Ross Sea and ultimately Terra Nova Bay, Antarctica.

Measuring Cobalt and cobalamin uptake across Antarctic seas

Using radiochemical techniques, I measured the uptake rates of cobalt and cobalamin (vitamin B12) by the natural seawater community. This data helps us understand which microbes dominate the patterns of micronutrient uptake.
